Save the planet? This is a job for school kids…

Question 1
What are some of the things that schools in Singapore are doing in order to take care of the environment?
-During geography, students explore environmental issues such as ozone depletion
and global warming. Primary schools, during social studies pupils learn how to
track and reduce their use of electricity. During science lessons, they learn about
energy and the environment.
Question 2
Do you think one person's effort in reducing, reusing and recycling will make a difference in saving the environment? What steps have you taken in the effort to save the earth?
-I think that one one takes initiative in reducing, reusing and recycling will make
a difference in saving the environment. As one does, the others will follow in
making the effort. Electrical appliances that are not in use, i will switch them off
so as not to waste electricity. Try to cut down the use of paper so that trees are
not being cut down so much, use fan instead of the air-conditional so as to reduce
energy in use and not to contribute so much to global warming and use electrical
appliances with more ticks to conserve energy.
